CHASE "Multimedia in the Classroom" AWARDS COMPETITION at the Teaching & Learning Celebration


Thanks to a little help from my friends Lisa Parisi and AllanahK, I was able to attend this year's 2008 TEACHING & LEARNING CELEBRATION. The conference was provided by Channel Thirteen/WNET and WLIW21 and Highlighted Science and Global Awareness.

I was able to attend because of a wiki we created with our class called, comparing hemispheres. It was a collaborative project using pictures, photographs, screen casts, and video, Long Island students and New Zealand students created a wiki to compare the different aspects of the Northern and Southern hemispheres. We submitted it for the

The Chase Multimedia in the Classroom Awards Competition celebrates the achievements of teachers and students who are transforming learning environments through technology. This year we were one of the winning schools.

The best part of the conference was when our students attended with us. Here are pictures for your viewing pleasure. :)
